Transform the conditions around your child.

Your child’s development is shaped by everyday life: the spaces they move through, the adults who care for them, the routines they experience, and the relationships surrounding them.

Lumen & Leaf helps families understand those conditions—and intentionally shape them to support development and family life.

Choose the level of support that fits your household.

Home Consulations

The Prepared Home Consultation is the starting point for Lumen & Leaf services.

It helps you understand what is happening in your household and identify meaningful next steps.

Your consultation includes:

Intake Call
A conversation about your child, family, caregiving system, and current concerns.

Home Observation and Walkthrough
An in-home look at your spaces, routines, caregiving patterns, and daily transitions.

Developmental Household Assessment
A written summary of strengths, friction points, and opportunities for greater alignment.

Follow-Up Call
A review of findings and recommendations.

The consultation may stand alone or serve as the first phase of a Prepared Home Transformation.

Prepared Home Transformation™

A comprehensive transformation of the household around your child.

For families ready to move beyond a single challenge, the Prepared Home Transformation™ is our signature engagement.

We examine the household as an interconnected system—including the child, the home environment, caregivers, routines, relationships, and roles.

Then we translate what we observe into a practical plan and support you through implementation.

This may include adapting spaces, creating functional zones, selecting or placing developmental materials, reworking access and storage, clarifying daily rhythms, supporting toddler participation, and helping adults understand how to use the environment

Prepared Home Method™

A developmental transition preparation process

Every family begins somewhere different.

Some are preparing before their baby arrives. Others are navigating a new developmental stage, changing routines, or seeking a deeper understanding of their child.

The Prepared Home Method™ guides families through:

Phase 1

Observation

We begin by understanding your child, your home, your routines, and your caregiving system.

Phase 2

Orientation

Together, we identify what matters most and design a plan aligned with your child’s developmental needs and your family’s life.

Phase 3

Transformation

We prepare the physical environment, caregiving system, routines, and supports needed for meaningful change.

Phase 4

Implementaion

Your family begins living with the changes while receiving guidance, coaching, and support.

Phase 5

Integration

We refine the system so it continues to support your family as your child grows.
